Wilma Ruth Baker Obituary

Wilma Ruth Baker, age 89, of Monette, Arkansas passed away on July 29, 2026 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born on November 30, 1936 in Leachville, Arkansas to George Crabtree and Martha Wycoff. Wilma enjoyed fishing, quilting, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include; two sons: Jimmy Baker (Julia) of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and Gage Baker of Monette, Arkansas; four daughters: Rena Leyman of Monette, Arkansas, Debbie Baker of Byron, Michigan, Cheyenne Baker of Monette, Arkansas, Martha Baker of Monette, Arkansas; several grandchildren; special niece: Sherry Sparks; and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by; her parents: George Crabtree and Martha Wycoff; one son; two grandchildren; five brothers; and four sisters.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Funeral Service in Manila, Arkansas with Jerry Reed officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Macey Cemetery in Monette, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

Those to serve as pallbearers will be: Gage Baker, Danielle Tolbert, Jason Tolbert, Luke Hudson, Kia Hawkins, and Tyler Hawkins.
