She was predeceased by: her father David Samuel Swift; her husband Robert Edward Brooks; and her siblings, Hubert Hedwood, Richard Swift, James Swift, David Swift and Mary Vern Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Riley (James) of White Planes, MA, Judy Hudspeth (Rufus) of Little Rock, AR, Margaret Rogers (Kenneth) of Pine Bluff, AR, Clarence Brooks (Brenda) of Monticello, AR, Errix Dewayne Brooks (Ruby) of Pine Bluff, AR and Ronnie Lee Brooks (Gertrude) of New Hope, AR. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
