He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cecil Lamar Knight and Jewel Caldwell Knight; his wife Tammy Johnson Knight of New Hope; his sister Cecile Knight (Greg McLaughlin) of Gilbert; his daughters, Maribeth Barnett (George) of Lake Village and Lacey J. Barnett (Daniel) of Arkansas City; his grandchildren, David Quinon, Carson Leighann, Carliebeth, Sarah Danielle and Daniel Lamar; and his close friend Kipp Williams. He was also cherished by brothers, sisters, and dear friends; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A viewing will be Wednesday, June 3, 2020, from 1:30 - 3:00 p. m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home Chapel, graveside services will follow in Andrews Chapel at 4:00 p. m. Please follow the COVID-19 protocol.
