He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Tilman Kelley and Eula Mae Scott Kelley; his daughters, Mary James and Martha Crowder; his son-in-law Richard Crowder; his grandson Ronnie Williamson; his nephew Marion Kelley, Sr.; his brothers, Leland Kelley and Hurshel Kelley; and his siblings-in-law, Anna Ruth Kelley and Norman Higginbotham.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Shannon Kelley; his children, Stephanie Baptiste (Jeremy) of Monticello, AR, Greg Kelley (Maria) of California, Sheila Elmore of Texas, Susan Pounders (James) of Texas, Cecil Dewayne Kelley Jr. of Texas, Pat Calhoun of Texas, Lannie Kelley of Little Rock, AR and Marilyn Kay Patterson of Pine Bluff, AR; his son-in-law David James; his grandchildren, Gavin, Garrin, Gabriel, Graiden, Jett, Avalyn and Whitney; his great grandchild Azra Jo; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Gage, Mischa, Vicky, Dana, Tammy, Wade, Candelaria, Robert, Liza, Johnny, Terri, Katelin, Jimmy Don, Walter, Brandy, Amy, Jenna, Michelle, Christie and James; his sister Merlyn Higginbotham; his niece Tina Jacks (Steve); his nephews, Kevin Higginbotham (Sonja) and Scott Kelley; and his pet Korey. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-nieces/nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home (943 US-425, Monticello, AR 71655). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Stephenson-Dearman Chapel (943 US-425, Monticello, AR 71655).
