We announce the death of Frances Elizabeth Lavender Prescott of Monticello, Arkansas, who passed away on June 21, 2026, at the age of 72. Frances will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Lloyd Lavender and Thelma Emily Byrson Lavender; and her siblings, Alma Inez Ledbetter, John Douglas Lavender, Carl Alvin Lavender, Annie May Lavender and Carolyn Ruth Dodson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Esther Marie Pyle, Robert Lester Lavender, Mary Jane Gilbert, Harold Shelton Lavender and Shirley Faye Lavender; and her daughter Grace McKenzie Murphy. She is also survived by the love of her life; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
