With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jerry Lynn Lawson of Monticello, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James Lawson and Geraldine Cruce Lawson; and his siblings, James, Bill, Lonnie, Willard, Leslie, Charles, Rufus, Everett, Douglas, Naomi, LaVel, Wanda and Lorraine.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy McCloud Lawson of Monticello; his daughters, Cyndy Woods (Jason) of Monticello, Ashley Anthony (Rick) of Monticello and Becky Johnson (Joe Ahlers) of Iowa; his sister Frances Hatcher of Texas; his grandchildren, Hunter Irvin (Lindsey) of Sheridan, Levi, Jaci Woods of North Carolina, Jacob Woods of Monticello, Hunter Anthony of Monticello, Tyler Gibson of Monticello, Blake Gibson of Monticello, Hannah Anthony of Monticello and Shelby Johnson of Iowa; and his great grandchildren, Heath, Daisy and Harvey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home (943 US-425, Monticello, AR 71657). Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
