He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Sponaugle; his daughter Denise Sponaugle; his son-in-law Butch Barnes; and his parents, Ervin Sponaugle and Jane Harris Sponaugle.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Sponaugle of Magnolia, Cindy Barnes and Lori Rabb (Rusty) of Monticello; his sister Lue Von Edwards of Fredrick, Maryland; his grandchildren, Chris Barnes (Kerry) of Alma, Leah Rabb Bryant (Chris) of Plainview and Dillon Rabb (Sarah) of Russellville; and his great grandchildren, Macon Barnes, Hazel Barnes, Lincoln Barnes, Harper Bryant, Beau Bryant, Josephine Rabb and Sophia Rabb. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hamburg Cemetery (720 E Parker St, Hamburg, AR 71646).
