He was predeceased by: his father William Lawton Brown; his wife Donna Brown; and his brothers, Tommy and Roger Brown. He is survived by: his children, John Brown, Jr. (Jamie) of Monticello, Angie and Patricia of Texas; and his sisters, Nelda Tyler and Sandra Cowley.
