He was predeceased by: his parents, Simp Lee Young and Obie Mae Sanders Young; and his sisters, Reba Young, Sue Lynn and Maxine Fortner.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Young of Monticello; his children, Marty Young (Gretchen) of Fayetteville and Jeniffer Martin (Chris) of Alexander; his grandchildren, Vernon, Joseph Young, Chase Martin and Abigail Martin; and his sisters, Vonnie Ruth Arnold of Crossett and Carolyn Andrews (Harold) of Monticello. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
