She was predeceased by: her siblings, John S. Bailey, Jr., Glenda Nell Bailey Glennon, Fred and Charles. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Burton of Monticello; her children, David Alan Smollen II, Robin Christopher Smollen, Paul Dana Smollen, Lynne Marie Smollen, Sara Louise Smollen and Sandra Burton; her grandchildren, Christopher Smollen, Lauren, Erin Smollen, Kaylee VanHise, Kara Smollen, Ian Smollen, Kennedy Davis, Bailey Davis, Nathaniel Hobbs, Wyatt Alpers, Cade Alpers, Jackson Tinker, Gabriel Tinker and Adam Tinker; and her great grandchildren, Elliot Roberts, Violet Roberts and Mable Roberts. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Second Chance Fur Dogs, Hope Place, the library at Drew Central.
