He was predeceased by: his siblings, Roosevelt King, Inez Floyd and Lovie Frazier. He is survived by: his wife Judy Page Cotton; his sons, Barren Cotton of Winchester, AR and Shannon Cotton of Milwaukee; his grandson Darrion Cotton of Reed, AR; and his siblings, Troy Cotton of Conway, AR, Octavia Brooks of Rogers, AR and Joyce Horn of Cincinnati, OH. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, cousins, and friends.
