She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae Matthews and Terrell Junior; her stepfather Dan Perry; her husband Wilson Eugene Wells; her brother Sylvester Junior; her sister-in-law Mary Ann; her children, Joyce Marie Brown, Kenny Ray Dunlap and Tony LaRay Dunlap; her granddaughter Felicia Brown; and her aunts and uncles, Leona Matthews Goodman, Hettie Mae Matthews Vincent, J. W. Matthews of Clarance Matthews, C. L, Jessie Matthews and Horace Matthews.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Brenda; her sons, Kenneth Ray Dunlap and Michael Dunlap Sr. (Brenda); her daughter-in-law Sabrina Dunlap; her stepson Larry D. Wells of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Lecroyce Brown, Angela Brown, Tekele, Kennedy, Kenneth Ray Dunlap Jr., Cedric Dunlap, Michael Dunlap Jr. and LaCandis Esaw; and her friends, Mary Jean Washinton, Jerry Ann Smith, Margaret Ridgell, Shirley Greene and Herdicine Meadows. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews.
