She was predeceased by : her parents, Tommie Richard Ellis and Roxie Irene Watson Ellis; her siblings, Katherine Adams, Mickey Ellis, Donald Ellis and Tommie Ellis; and her nephews, Terry McGough and Bennie Adams.

She is survived by : her husband Ted Wayne McDaniel; her son Terry McDaniel; her grandson Taylor McDaniel; her niece Penny Jordan; and her nephew Tony McGough.
