We announce the death of Michael Hugh of Monticello, Arkansas, who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his father Hugh Warden Pennington; and his grandparents, Lloyd Ervin, Lelia Mae Goyne Rodgers, Charles Leonard and Susie Warden Wilson Pennington.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Lee Pennington of Monticello; his daughters, Michelle Pennington of Monticello and Laura Hartley (Cody) of Chesapeake, VA; his grandchildren, Grace, Asher, Liam and Harper of Forney, TX; his mother Christine Pennington of Monticello; his grandfather Babby; his sister Gayle York (Roy) of Monticello; and his pets, Eve, Stormi, Maggie, Lily, Monkey and Emmy of Chesapeake, VA..
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Drew Central Earl Willis Auditorium University.
