Milton leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Milton’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Milton will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Harold "Chick" Ward and Elizabeth Frances Kimbro Ward; his wife Opal Tucker Ward; and his brother Billy Ward. He is survived by: his sons, John Ward (Virginia) of Monticello, Roger Ward of Drasco and Mike Ward (Amy) of Monticello; and his grandchildren, Tucker Ward (Sidney) of Monticello and Amelia Ward of Monticello.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home (943 US-425, Monticello, AR 71655). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital or First Baptist Church.
