We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Nova Markovics of Monticello, Arkansas, born in Monticello, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Nova leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Nova may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Hubert Koontz and Lona Koontz; her former life partner George Markovics; and her children, Bob and Gail.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hunt Chapel (5930 S Wallis Rd, Rogers, AR 72768). Then in January, 2022 Nova contracted COVID.
