It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Jackson Parnell of Monticello, Arkansas, born in Warren, Arkansas, who passed away on July 26, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Parnell and Elizabeth Hairston Parnell; and his brothers, Bobby and Tommy. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Parnell; his sons, Christopher Parnell, William Adair, Jason Adair and Kenneth Adair Jr.; his grandchildren, J. C. Adair of Monticello, Madison Adair of Monticello, Bailey Adair of Monticello and Caroline Adair of Monticello; his great grandchildren, Carson Fletcher and Weylyn Adair; and his siblings, Janie Lommis (Carlton) of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana and Steve (Diane) of Sumpter, Arkansas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
