He was predeceased by: his parents, R. J. Arrington and Marie Smith Arrington; his brothers, Lemuel Ridgell and Frederick Arrington (Patricia); and his grandparents, Oscela Smith Sr. (Lonzela), Annie Mae Allen Smith, Clifton Arrington and Reola Swain.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn McCray Arrington of Monticello; his children, Ramona Stanley (Robert) of Louisiana, Teressa Gipson of Louisiana, Calvin Gipson of Louisiana, Kiwanda Kuthong (Linda) of Texas, Latreasha Charleston of Illinois and Tamara Riddle (Herman) of Wisconsin; his siblings, Hugh Arrington (Chris) of Monticello, Marilyn Trotter (Henry) of Monticello, Cassinger Coopwood of Texas, Boulder Henry of Texas and Fredrick Henry of Nebraska; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Ridgell of Monticello. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
