It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelton Leon Adams of Monticello, Arkansas, born in Stamps, Arkansas, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Meade Oliver Adams and Agnes Mignon Simmons Adams; his daughter Amanda Adams; and his brothers, Robert and Kenny Adams.

He is survived by: his son Thomas Adams of Marianna; his grandchildren, Charles and Drew Staley; and his brother Greg Adams (Ginny) of Monticello. He is also survived by friends and family members.
