He was predeceased by : his parents, Tommie Richard Ellis and Roxie Irene Watson; his daughter Alicia Lynn Ellis; and his siblings, Katherine Louise Adams, Mitchell Lavon Ellis and Donald Ray Ellis.
He is survived by : his wife Addis Smith Ellis; his children, Marty Wayne Ellis, Thomas Payton Ellis, Cathy Dawn Davis and Melanie Shea Ellis; and his siblings, Henry Richard Ellis, Sylvia Mae McGough and Marilyn Irene McDaniel. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
