Vera LaVerne Obituary
We announce the death of Vera LaVerne of Monticello, Arkansas, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 96. Vera will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Vera will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Vera’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: George Louie Hottel and Vera Mae Lunsford Hottel; husband: Edwin Paul Jameson; brother: Louie Carol Hottel; children: Curtis Jameson, Debbie Jameson, and Susan Russell (Chad); special friend: Rand Harrison; and nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Park Chapel (5115 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa, OK 74145). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (150 Ragland Ave, Monticello, AR 71655).
