She is survived by: her children, Diane Phelps, Randy Akin and Raymond Akin (Diane); her daughter-in-law Karen Akin; her grandchildren, Christy Capps, Beth Akin, Kendra Akin Jones, Justin Akin and Keith Akin; and her great grandchildren, Jacob Trantham (Sarah) and Josh Trantham. She is also survived by ten great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home (943 US-425, Monticello, AR 71655).
