He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Hensley Higgins and Lula Etta Mixon Higgins; his siblings, John Edward Higgins, Mir Reen Raiford, Lee Rollie Higgins, Robert Higgins, Francis Higgins, Margaret Moss and Wayne Higgins; and his significant other Linda Guin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dolly May, Sarah Kendrick and Gailene Barnett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
