She was predeceased by: her parents, James Daniels and Eula Mae Green Daniels; her husband Robert Roy Sawyer; her close friend Henry Porter Daniels; her siblings, Freda Brock, Roy Lee Daniels and James Leron Daniels; her nephew Melvin Riley; her son Clark Simpson; and her great-niece Martha Simpson.

She is survived by: her children, Peggy Everett (Leo, Jr.) and Bobby Sawyer of Monticello, AR; her grandchildren, Daryle Daniels, Sr. of Fountain Hill, AR, Rickey Daniels (Alveria) of Fountain Hill, AR and Clarence Daniels, Sr. (Wanda) of Fountain Hill, AR; her siblings, Atlean Riley of Lacey, AR, John Daniels (Deborah) of Lacey, AR, Damon Daniels (Linda) of Lacey, AR and Lisa Bell of Wilmar, AR; her grandchildren, Dominic Sawyer of Bonneterre, MO and LeNesha Everett; her aunts, Onnie Lee Daniels of Monticello, AR and Georgia Green of Monticello, AR; her siblings-in-law, Mary Childress of Crossett, AR, Carolyn Simmons of Florida, Barbara Wesley (Bruce), Cheryl Wilson of Detroit, MI, Gracie Sawyer of Monticello, AR and Henry George Daniels (Jessie); her niece Cindy Robinson (Denver); and her close friends, Rose Foster (Troy), Mildred Thomas, Pam Lambert, Shirley Duckworth, Cheryl Collins, Lula Harden (Henry), Shelvis, Gerald (Evelyn Faye), Angela and Lisa (Randy). She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home (943 US-425, Monticello, AR 71657). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
