He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnett "Smiley" Canady and Geraldine "Jewel" Canady; and his brother Charles Wayne "Charlie Hawk" Crawford. He is survived by: his children, Erisa "Nelly Pooh" Canady and Garick Canady; his brother Greg "Scooter" Canady; and his nieces, Adrian "Jetta" Bell, Shantel Davis, Ashley Mitchell, Jeana'Canady and Alana Canady.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Directors (106 E Elm St, Morrilton, AR 72110). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church.
