It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Parrish of Morrilton, Arkansas, born in Galax, Virginia, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Parrish and Irene Parrish; and his grandson Alexander Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Modeen Tedder Parrish of Morrilton; his children, Christopher Parrish of Raleigh, NC, Kenneth Todd May (Julia) of Sherwood, Debbie May Zimmerman of Arlington, TX and Susan May Hoyt of Russellville; his grandchildren, Deanna Roberts of Morrilton, Andrea Gonzales of Celina, TX, Anthony Hoyt (Monica) of Bethany, OK, Adam Zimmerman (Andria) of Fayetteville and Dylan Hoyt of Morrilton; his great grandchildren, Michael Roberts II, Justus Brewer, Daniel, Joseph, Makayla Hoyt, Alessandria, Lela Gonzelez and Keely Hickson; his sister Peggy Smythers (Johnny) of Mt. Crawford, VA; his aunt June Kirby of Michigan; and his stepmother Betty Parrish of Galax, VA. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
