It is with sadness that the passing of James Vestal Reed (Morrilton, Arkansas) is shared. James Vestal, born on February 20, 1951, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Rueben Vanburen; and his grandparents, Bennie Hilburn and Forrest Hilburn. He is survived by: his mother Lucille Reed of Perryville; his uncle Frank Hilburn of Joplin Missouri; his children, Elizabeth Hanson (Todd), Sarah Reed of Ulm and Jeffrey Reed of Little Rock; and his grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Julia, Madison and Ava.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Solid Rock Apostolic Church (290 Crestview Dr, Morrilton, AR 72110).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of James.
