He was predeceased by: his father Gwyn Fortson; and his brother Charles Fortson. He is survived by: his wife Joyce C. Fortson; and his children, Ruby Bolding, Mary Ingram (Jimmy), Martha Burns, Jerry Baird (Evelyn) and Paul Andrew Shock (Margaret). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and many more family and friends.
