He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsey M. Parks and Ella Griffith Parks; his wife Beverly McDermott Parks; and his son Lindsey Alan Parks. He is survived by: his children, Leslie K. Parks of Morrilton and Brett Parks (Laura) of Nashville, TN; and his siblings, Rudy Parks (Sue) of Marshall, AR, Janet Burks (Arvil) of Conway, AR and Ann English of Douglas, AZ. He is also survived by three granddaughters, four grandsons, and two great-grandchildren.

The family asks that memorials be made to the Beverly Parks Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton.
