He was predeceased by : his father Richard R. Griffey. He is survived by : his mother Becki Carothers Griffey-Walters of Morrilton; his children, Gabriel Griffey and Kaidence Griffey; his brother Clayton Griffey (Adrian); and his grandmother Emma Orlicek Carothers of Morrilton.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Morrilton First United Methodist Church (105 W Church St, Morrilton, AR 72110).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Morrilton First United Methodist Church.
