Rita Whitbey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2025, at the age of 76, Rita Whitbey of Morrilton, Arkansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Whitbey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hartman and Beatrice Hartman (Beck); her son Kevin Whitbey; and her great grandchild Memphis Whitbey. She is survived by: her husband Bill Whitbey of Morrilton; her children, Brenda Bunker (Randy) of Cabot, Karen Smith (Kevin) of Cabot and Chris Whitbey of Morrilton; her siblings, Clarence Hartman (CW) of Texas, Gerald Hartman (Jerry) of Mabelvale and Carol Shewmake of Morrilton; her grandchildren, Katie Hamilton, Tabitha Davis, Justin Whitbey, Lexy Danner, Broady Whitbey, Carson Whitbey, Jennifer Siebe, Gabriel Smith, Paizlee and Cannon Collins; and her great grandchildren, Carli, Hayzen, Rainlee, Paxton, Maverick, Madden and Estelle.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (506 E Broadway St, Morrilton, AR 72110). A rosary was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
