He was predeceased by: his parents, William Garland Bean and Lilly Oliger-Bean; his wife Betty Brice-Bean; his son Gary Bean; and his siblings, Bob Bean and Erma Lee Bean-Johnson.
He is survived by: his son David Bean (Donna) of Conway; his sister Billie Jean Bean-Hogan of Plumerville; his grandchildren, Amanda Simpson (Tommy), Michael Freeman (Brooke) and Amy Bean-Ledbetter (Jacob); and his great grandchildren, Emily, Noah Simpson, Levi, Cora Ledbetter, Mikayla, Briley and Skyler Freeman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel (1325 N Oak St, Morrilton, AR 72110). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
