She was predeceased by: her father Allen Hill; her grandparent Vinnie Luella Miles; her husband Freddie Knight Sr.; her mother Willie Ophilia Turntine; her grandparents, Cisero, Nancy Cavaness Hill, George C. and Vinnie Remley Miles; her brothers, Jesse and Larry Turntine; her sons, Roy L. Collins and Richard P. Knight; and her grandson Jeffery Hill, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Freddie, Gregory Knight (Evelyn), Vera Turner (Larry), Doris Huggins and Clara Knight; and her sisters, Vinnie Brazell, Christine Turntine and Geraldine Collins (Morris).
