With solemn reverence, we commemorate Billy Barksdale of Mount Holly, Arkansas, whose life came to an end on November 16, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Billy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Billy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Griffith Barksdale; and his siblings, Jim Barksdale and Sue Bailey. He is survived by: his father Aubrey Barksdale; and his children, Donny Barksdale of Benton and Amber Daugherty (Kevin) of Ward. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Union County Animal Protection Society (UCAPS) or to a local food bank.
