She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Gawf and Opal Decker Gawf; her husband Gerald Whitmire; her daughter Dorothy (Gary Burton); her sisters, Betty Graham and Gloria Gawf; and her grandson Troy Burton.
She is survived by : her sons, David Whitmire (Martha) of Mount Ida and Danny Whitmire (Shelly) of Walnut Ridge; and her sisters, Mary Gentry of Rockford, IL, Donnie Graham of Portia and Connie Gawf of Portia. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many other family & friends.
