He was predeceased by : his parents, Sam Barrett and Francis Barrett; his wife Theda Irons; and his sister Mary Edna Harper. He is survived by : his son Randy Barrett (Cheryl); his brother Tommy Barrett; his grandchildren, Michael Barrett, Randi Michelle Hickman (Blake) and Dakota Barrett (Kendra); his great grandchildren, Barrett Carr and Hadleigh Barrett; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Preston and Bristol Hickman; and his daughter-in-law Cheryl.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at Southern Bancorp in Mount Ida to purchase a flagpole with a plaque "In Memory of Bobby Barrett" to be installed at his favorite place, RanCher Arena.
