He was predeceased by : his parents, Jessie Jackson Meeks and Malinda Lorene Meeks (McClain); his son Eugene Meeks; and his sisters, Mary Dardene, Vivian Lampkin and Ernestine Meeks.
He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Meeks; his siblings, James Meeks, Thomas Meeks and Edna Meeks; his stepson David Mazzella; and his siblings-in-law, Carol and Wally Vertz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
