She was predeceased by : her parents, Orie Elbert and Emmie Todd; her children, Carl Ashmore Jr., Pam Ashmore, Carolyn Ashmore, Gay Ashmore and Carla Ashmore; her grandson Carlos Ashmore; and her siblings, Elbert Lee Todd, A. D. Todd and Lola.

She is survived by : her husband Carl Ashmore; her daughters, Penny Ashmore and Monica Rath (Terry); and her sisters, Ella Mae Folk (Gary) and Emma Lou Sexton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
