Mark Avra Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 31, 2025, Mark Avra of Mount Ida, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cleota Jean Avra (Reece) and Thomas Lee Avra of Norman; his wife Betty Avra; his children, Whitney Avra of Hot Springs and Hayes Avra (Destiny Avra) of Hot Springs; his grandchildren, Ariadne, Ellis, Esten and Endee; his brother Ron Avra of Beaumont, Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Doyle, Johnette Rowland of Sims, Loyal and Margie Rowland of Sims. He was also cherished by 35 nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and host of many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Rock Steady Boxing in honor of Mark Avra, First Baptist Church, 2350 Central Avenue, Hot Springs, AR 71901.
