She was predeceased by : her parents, Eston Simmons and Gracie Simmons (Graham); her spouse Cecil Hammett; and her siblings, Revel Simmons, Essie Simmons, Marie Matlock and Henry Noel Simmons.
She is survived by : her children, Charlie Hammett (Karen) and Harry Hammett (Lisa); her granddaughters, Katie Hammett (Kai) and Nicole Skidmore (Rick); her great grandchildren, Marlee Hammett, Hunter Fields, Shelby Skidmore and Dani Skidmore; and her close friends, Donna Knopke and Sharon Dorsey.
