With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Ament of Mountain Home, Arkansas, who passed away on January 13, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Rita is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hadley Clark and Gladys Clark; her granddaughter Brittana Ann Marie Smith; her sons, Dan Gouchenour and Dennis Gouchenour; and her sister Joanne Ragan.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Ament; and her children, Todd Gouchenour (Darlene) and Susan Smith (Patrick). She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
