Alan Arnold wrote a sympathy message

“This is very sad news. Steve was a special man...a good and kind soul who was always there to help anyone in need.... I first met Steve when he and his young and beautiful family moved to Mountain Home. They had a pet grooming shop I believe where Culligan Water is now. Steve introduced me to tropical fish and aquariums when I was just 16 and it is a hobby and joy that I still have to this day because of his enthusiasm and caring he showed me when I first started the hobby. Steve was the kindest man I know and he instilled this in everything he did. He truly set the standards by which we all should observe....God's gift to all of us that knew him. I am honestly in shock and this will take some time to absorb that I will no longer see his wonderful smile, his upbeat attitude, his always cheery greeting whenever I saw him... Prayers for the entire family and all of his friends..... We have lost a mentor, friend, and brother at heart....God Bless.....Alan and LaKeeta Arnold, Mountain Home.”
