He was predeceased by : his father Dee Mason; his former life partner Betty Mason; his children, Dee Mason and Julie Weidner; and his children-in-law, Eric Weidner, Diana Mason and Lana Mason.
He is survived by : his wife Maxine Mason; his children, David Mason of Pleasantville, Anthony Mason of Pleasantville, Iowa and Lori Mason (Jay Welch) of Ottumwa, Iowa; and his sisters, Etta and Julia. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren.
