He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlin Shipman and Dovia Lea Shipman; and his siblings, Leon Shipman, Don Shipman, Maxine Shipman Treat and Juanita Shipman Kendrick.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Shipman of Mountain View; his children, Michelle Shipman Turner (Gerry) of Sherwood and Brad Shipman (Kay) of Heber Springs; his grandchildren, Brittney Turner Choat (Michael) of Sherwood, Bethaney Turner of Mountain View, Brady Shipman of Nashville, Kaley Shipman of Little Rock and Kade Shipman of Heber Springs; and his great grandchild Turner Choat of Sherwood.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fifty SIX Missionary Baptist Church (6587 AR-14, Fifty-Six, AR 72533). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
