Though Johnny may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of our lives, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnny Doyle Gathright, Sr. and Mary Emogene Gathright (Hunter); and his brothers, Earnest Jene Gathright and Donald Wayne Gathright. He is survived by : his nephew Jared Gathright; his great-nieces, Madison Gathright and Natalie Gathright; and his siblings, Dorothy Poole and John Paul Gathright. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Arbanna Baptist Church (7554 AR-5, Mountain View, AR 72560). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
