He was predeceased by: his father Buel Wharton. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Wharton; his sons, Heath Wharton of Texas and Trey Wharton of Ohio; his sister Terrie Roberts of Mountain View; and his grandchildren, Trystan, Taylor and Amelia.
