She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Halk and Myrtle Ausborne Halk; her daughter Janice Orr; and her siblings, Danny, Junior Halk and Billie Ann Foster.

She is survived by: her son David Burns of Mountain View; her siblings, James Halk (Barb) of Mountain View, Martha Goins of Mountain View, Cynthia Jane Peters of Mountain View, Betty Jean Beach of Kansas City, Fanny Copeland of Mountain View and Pearl Halk of Kansas City; her granddaughter Sherry Hufstedler of Jonesboro; her great grandchildren, Jessica Henninger of Jonesboro and Samantha Swindle of Jonesboro; and her great great grandchildren, Hunter, Reece, Christopher and Maddox. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
