David will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew David will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Figluizzi Richards. He is survived by: his daughters, Taran Matthews (Jamie) of Mulberry, Arkansas and Teresa Jimmerson (Jay) of Mulberry, Arkansas; his brother Rick Richards (Judy) of Ozark, Missouri; his sister-in-law Suzanne Cunningham of Mulberry; his grandson Landon (Kaitlyn); and his great grandchild Kamdon Richards. He is also survived by numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shaffer Funeral Home (2315 W Commercial St, Ozark, AR 72949). A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the New Cemetery (1112 Alma Ave, Mulberry, AR 72947).
