He is survived by: his wife Laurie Adkins; his children, Zoe Owens (Pat) of Muldrow, Teresa Adkins of Van Buren, Rebecca Adkins of Van Buren, Laura Adkins Willis of Muldrow and Jacky Dale Adkins of Cedarville; and his siblings, Patsy Griffin of Siloam Springs, Obie Adkins (Sammie) of Farmersville and Ricky Adkins (Leticia) of Visalia, California. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home (4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR 72956). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Gill Cemetery (4620 Kibler Rd, Van Buren, AR 72956).
