With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Floyd Shores of Mulberry, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Floyd shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Floyd farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Shores and Violet Shores (Sanders); his wife Wilma Shores (Staggs); his brother Billy Ray Shores; and his granddaughter Laterra Coombes.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Coombes (Charley) of Mulberry, Kara Rose (Mark) of Mulberry, Arkansas and Ronnie Shores of Mulberry, Arkansas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
